Severnlea has a range of facilities that rival any small school. We boast two playground areas with a range of activities, a tennis court and numerous balls and sporting equipment.
Our Soccer Oval is well used by students at playtimes and our large oval over the road is used for interschool soccer and as the venue for when we host the annual Granite Belt District Cross Country.
All the students at Severnlea have a wide area in which to play and explore and with beautiful trees to maximise the experience.
Our school has a range of teaching and learning areas that change from time-to-time as needed. In 2024 our teaching areas are:
- Two designated classrooms for our P-3 and 4-6 multi-age classes.
- A well-resourced library where the children can learn and develop the love of books and reading.
- A multi-use classroom used by our Music and Instrumental specialists, Religious Instruction teacher, learning support and intervention teachers, and community based allied health workers.
Across the road on the edge of our large oval, The P&C are developing a multi-purpose shed with power and a kitchen that can be used for school events such as athletics carnivals and the district cross country events. Community groups can access this facility by contacting the school.
